Under-19 World Cup winning captain Yash Dhull has been picked to lead India's squad at the upcoming Men's Emerging teams Asia Cup 2023, the BCCI announced on Tuesday (July 4). Punjab's Abhishek Sharma as his deputy.

Punjab wicketkeeper Prabhsimran Singh, who notched up his maiden T20 hundred in IPL 2023 against Delhi Capitals, has been named the wicketkeeper alongside Rajasthan Royals' Dhruv Jurel.
TNPL 2023's top tun-getter Sai Sudharsan, who also hit 96 for Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 final against eventual champions Chennai Super Kings, has been suitably rewarded with a spot, while the selectors have also shown faith in Riyan Parag.

Allrounder Nehal Wadhera, who hit back to back half-centuries for Mumbai Indians in his debut season, is among the four players on the standby list.
Head coach Sitanshu Kotak will be assisted by Sairaj Bahutule (bowling) and Munish Bali (fielding) on tour.
India A are placed in Group B, alongside Nepal, UAE A and Pakistan A. Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A and Oman A form Group A. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semis on July 21. The final will take place on July 23.

it seems the ACC brings the rain with them wherever they go

These recent ACC tournaments not being live scored on cricinfo is also quite annoying.

Its on tv why we need Cricinfo?
So we can go back and look at scorecards and see stats and stuff. Those on the ACC website disappear once the tournament is done.

Hopefully the whole scorecards will be entered into CricketArchive at some point, but if not then the only place the stats from this tournament will exist is on YouTube lol
