Binura Fernando looked really good when he bowled earlier. Awkward bounce and hard to get him away. Wellalage looked alright when he pitched it closer to the stumps.

Karunaratna looked his usual ordinary self and Hemantha is just into the attack but hasn't been very good so far.

Hemantha takes wickets but I feel like he has the odd loose delivery in him. Arachchige keeps it tight for most part I think, but he isn't threatening enough.

Karunatarne gives them lots of scoring opportunities I think and has been the weak link. It'd be nice to see Binura get a couple of overs in before the death.

He did feature against West Indies and Afghanistan recently. Did well against the Windies.

Who do you drop for him in the long run though? Theekshana is better than him and Wanindu is more an allrounder type plus DDS bowls spin as well. He'd have to play ahead of one of the pacers, but you'd have to consider pitch conditions and team balance to include him.

Our bowling looks in good shape especially the fast bowling with the emergence of Dilshan Madushanka ,Maheesha Pathirana and Binura Fernando is solid , then there is Kumara and Chameera when he comes back from injury ..

No, he's not really quick. He gets awkward bounce due to his height and mixes up his pace with slow balls. He's good with those back-of-a-length slow bouncers that don't come onto the bat properly if you don't anticipate them enough. He's pretty good for limited overs but not a Test bowler.

Can't believe it. That was such a great knock. Fantastic 100 and he held everything together after we were 5 down and scored more than a run a ball throughout as well. Just incredible that he threw it away after taking us so close to the win. This was the kind of knock we could do with in the first team.
