Wasn't it you who said people needed to give credit to the opposition?Agreed
If you go down that route no bowler will ever get credit for any wicket against this England team.In fact, you could argue it was all 7. Brook being an idiot twice, 3 stumpings and 2 lbw's to reverse sweeps.
No way eng can win this testAgreed but we have to try and get another 100 out of the last four wickets. If we can I’m confident England win or at least draw
lead 208
We all know what needs to happen with keeperThat was a chance. Bizarrely Bairstow probably catches that yet Carey wouldn't make the mistakes Bairstow has.
Take good with the bad with English approachIn fact, you could argue it was all 7. Brook being an idiot twice, 3 stumpings and 2 lbw's to reverse sweeps.
Bit like Broad and Anderson for us in recent years.Virtually only plays test cricket as well as he’s rarely available for fc so limited wear on the body
I think Alex Carey has been my Man of the Match so far , he's been awesome behind the stumps and that partnership with Khawaja was absolutely crucial given Australia's long tail.Only reason that this game is still alive entirely down to individual players from Australia like Lyon and Khawaja
Collective planning has been dog ****
Yes and I have. I said lyon is an all time great. I said Khawaja was awesome in the first inningsWasn't it you who said people needed to give credit to the opposition?
There is one at least. Take ten wickets with Australia below the scores requiredNo way eng can win this test
bit of a stretch to give him MOTM ...I think Alex Carey has been my Man of the Match so far , he's been awesome behind the stumps and that partnership with Khawaja was absolutely crucial given Australia's long tail.
Yeah forgot himI think Alex Carey has been my Man of the Match so far , he's been awesome behind the stumps and that partnership with Khawaja was absolutely crucial given Australia's long tail.
The first Brook wicket was obviously massive luck but the sign of a quality spinner is the ability to draw mistakes from the batsmen by beating them in the airIn fact, you could argue it was all 7. Brook being an idiot twice, 3 stumpings and 2 lbw's to reverse sweeps.
England probably would have lost that game if Stokes was captain because Leach would have scored 8(3) and then got bowled. There is one at least. Take ten wickets with Australia below the scores required
I know what you mean, but Cummins for example has bowled some cracking deliveries for his wickets - and this looks like another.....If you go down that route no bowler will ever get credit for any wicket against this England team.
