Tricky decision but it will all come down to to an assessment of fitness. pitch. weather ie information to which we are not privy. Stokes? Mo? Don't see spin [laying a big part here.

Look it's always hazardous to judge pitches a few days out but usually that's because they look like green monsters and then get mown right back. This one's going to be a ****ing four lane highway.

That's definitely going to be studio work with ground crossovers during session breaks IMO with maybe some colour commentary during drinks. It's definitely nowhere near enough to carry a full commentary load for a 5 Test series, you usually need a dozen plus commentators and presenters for that.

You are remembering wrong if you think it was only those four doing commentary in the last decade of Channel 9. You had Nicholas, Slater, Healy, Taylor, Warne, Clarke, Brayshaw, usually a touring team nationality's commentary and others as well. Tbh I don't know what your point is here; it's pretty obvious they aren't sending over their own commentary team.

Based on what they did in 2019 they'll just have two guys in the studio, probably Taylor and Healy and someone else, just providing some punditry and analysis at drinks breaks and between sessions, and maybe they'll have a few guys at the ground to provide more "on the ground" analysis (i.e. say exactly the same thing but physically at the ground to make it seem deeper).

A lot of sports and a lot of sports broadcasters have picked up this model. For one thing, it's cheaper - you don't have to pay as much to just take a global feed and provide a few comments on it after the fact.

I think Ferg and Finch will be good. Tubby and Heals are awful but known quantities and SOK will just be on the squirt the whole time. Sounds awesome
