The Sweepathon happened on 19th February 2023 in the 2nd test of the Border Gavaskar series when Australia were in a good position 86 runs ahead in the second innings with only 2 wickets lost. Then they inexplicably started playing ill-advised sweeps to straight fast balls from Jadeja and lost their last 8 wickets for 28 runs.Speaking of which, what is Sweepathon? It sounds like something I'd have enjoyed.
Each team picks one representative to complete a nude drawing of the man of the match. The winner is the person who draws either the most comically proportioned penis or Virat Kohli. What happens if this game is drawn?
For you. This match would have far more impact if it was played at the home ground of one of the participants
No disrespect to the Kiwis but I had to think who won the first one because NZ v India at Southhampton was a non event
Play it in front of a full house at the home of the team that finished first and make it a celebration of test cricket for a week
The location is fineI agree the WTC means a lot but the idea is on a cusp of acceptance. Unfortunately the insistence the final be played in England irrespective of the finalists, and its scheduling undermine the importance of the contest.
We're just waiting for a neutral venue coz we're polite like that!I’ve come to terms with the location. Should be funny when we’re in the 15th cycle and England is yet to feature in one.
Test match at Oval in june? Never heardA classic rainstorm. June is monsoon season in London.
June 12 available.WTC finals should be timeless.

Nah you're wrong. Lot of India fans (including me) were very invested. This match would have far more impact if it was played at the home ground of one of the participants
No disrespect to the Kiwis but I had to think who won the first one because NZ v India at Southhampton was a non event

I'm keen af for this WTC Final.
It's a great thing, anyone who thinks otherwise is boring. It doesn't have to be as important or significant as the Ashes, BG, Aus-SA, Ind-Pak or whatever. It's an extra Test against two top sides in neutral conditions. It's awesome.
Wtc or cricket in generalI'm not a cricket fan and I think this idea is stupid and dumb.
I'll be watching the next five days.
