David Knox played for the Wallabies but was arguably a better cricketer

However, he got a professional rugby contract in Italy and that was the end of his cricket career

And then there’s Jeff Wilson who played for NZ in rugby & cricket

I forget his name, but what about the bloke that Trevor Chappell bowled that underarm delivery to? Didn't he play rugby, or have I remembered that completely wrong?

Well, there is potential for him to do it, and he will need to do it quickly, let's be honest.

After seeing Broad bowl last night, I have to say the concern about Warner's reflexes not being up to facing fast bowling any more is far less of a concern. It was barely Green Shield pace. I still don't expect Warner to do any good tbh, he's shot. But if Broad plays, Travis Head (assuming he even gets a hit batting five) is going to utter destroy these trundling dinosaurs the Poms are rolling out.

These dinosaurs must have aged significantly in a hurry because they seem to have been going ok the last 12 months. But I guess old age does hit hard in a hurry.......doesn't it burgey?

Warner is shot & the pace of the bowling is generally irrelevant when that’s the case as all batting requires split second decisions

Selectors are between a rock & a hard place as:

1. Apart from Uzie, he’s the only genuine opener who has shown himself to be capable of playing a quality test innings consistently;

2. The alternatives are likely to be as bad; and

3. Cummins has openly declared that he doesn’t want established players embarrassed by being dropped

They should have moved on last Australian summer but Warner wouldn’t retire so here we are

Bring back Shane Watson

State Vice-Captain
Watto could seriously play

Harris can’t (at test level)
He was a decent opener at test level but no more than that. He was a decent enough seam bowler but injuries took their toll.

He was a seriously good white ball cricketer though, could take an attack apart on his day.

His big weakness though as we all know was ghosts 😆

Norwood's on Fire
Btw it’s a little irksome that we have great weather (by our standards) for the next two weeks

So basically first drop of rain in weeks will be…yep…
