14-0 not a fair reflection of that game at all imo. Warriors are very decent this year. Lot of players have good and bad games. Johnson has good and bad seasons. This year he’s been very good.

That was some two tries scored by Jake Averillo for the dogs. Great pace followed by sparkling footwork off both the left and right.

maybe i'm just biased because i really don't rate avocado however i felt that the second try was juniors level defense from sloane lol

I have a mate who's a Canterbury fan and we talked over some of their players last year and we both agreed Averillo was good. He's a goal kicker and versatile in positional play too. I was aware of his speed but those tries were real eye openers. He looks absolute gun and when Addo Carr comes back the dogs must have close to the slickest three quarter line in the comp.

On the other hand I fkn hate Saints. The number of times they've dudded me in my tipping comp justifies the hatred I have for them.

Courageous effort, and quality from the Panthers too. They are flat out better than us and we're out of steam with an injury toll and coming off 3 tough games.

The analysts are saying the rest for me post match. We need to slip Spudlandys some cash. Maybe a nice Devonport home.

sorry i'm so late to replying to this lol

as re the last point, avocado's problem in the centres historically has been he's a bit slow not in terms of foot speed but rather with hand speed. close to the last bloke in the league you'd want getting it on a backline shift. on the other hand, put sloane on skates a few times last week although part of that was some junior varsity level defending from sloane lol. happy to get proven to be wrong again!

I think everyone will be a lot happier when we either accept the competition is soft fixed and treat it as WWE with a ball or we burn it to the ground and start over.

it’s about time, he’s been a dead man walking for ages. We shouldn’t be at the bottom with the players we have, plus the comparatively easy draw we have had so far. Flick him now, hunt to 9 for the year, don’t win the spoon and we will be okay
