always fun to play the wawas though. was at the game and the ****clown dogs fans behind us cheered when perham went down with an ankle, my mate and i turned around and gave them an absolute ****ing serve for their troubles

Canterbury fans are easily the worst in the NRL, and arguably in world sport. Always have been. Why someone would consciously follow that side is completely beyond me given their fan base and the underlying criminal element in and around the club.

I recall going to Belmore in the 80s to watch games and a family of Canterbury fans back then - including kids well under 16 - sitting there lobbing profane abuse and death threats, including saying they knew where the match officials lived - to the under 23s’ referee. I mean, the main game was still two hours away and they were just getting warmed up.

They have always been and always will be the complete scum of the earth. The NRL missed a trick when they failed to turf them from the comp during one of their myriad scandals in the 80s, 90s and 2000s. Grub City.

see that’s all horrible but i can’t agree we’re the worst fans in the comp when manly fans are all the above and also have this insipid undeserved smugness because the people who live two suburbs over from them are richer than the people who are two suburbs over from any other club’s fans

Yeah that’s why he got dropped from nsw cup last week as well - the word is that he needs surgery and will be out for a fair bit. Great time for my dragons to get them next week (not that we will win ffs)
