Bhuvi was quite conditions dependant tbh. Needed the ball moving around to provide any penettation, so that average is a little misleading . Siraj has the potential to be a really valuable all conditions bowler.

Bhuvi's batting was hugely undervalued though. He kept making key contributions with bat and ball and we lost many tests in the 2017-2018 years due to a bad tail when he wasn't selected . Very frustrating to watch.
But the conditions in which he is good are the exact same conditions in which Umesh is weak. There were many matches in SENA where Umesh played and was wayward and having Bhuvi would have really helped.

I think I based England being ahead on winning in NZ. Now that they haven't, I don't think they can claim to be.
Your logic is bizarre and irrational but weirdly consistent like Ramiz Raja

I don’t think you hate India, nor does Ramiz Raja. But both of you share the trait of consistently irrational and bizarre logic

You know I was literally thinking the same thing. If somehow, Australia wins the 3rd test ie a live test I'd say it's touch and go better the 3 sides. If they came back and drew, the 3 teams imo, would practically be level at least in my mind.
Let the records show that I did say that there was a possibility of Australia winning a test (or two). Carry on....

Still think it's England. Arrogance and overconfidence cost them the Wellington Test. What they've achieved in the last 9 months is still incredible.

without that arrogance and overconfidence that you say is the reason they lost that test they wouldn’t have won other tests. its a live by the sword, die by the sword philosophy

Still think it's England....sike. Still India for me. But Australia isn't unreasonable given that they pulled off the impossible and actually won a test in India.

If England produce flat wickets for Bazball then they will be in serious trouble . No team plays better on roads than Aus.

Australia actually impressed me these last two tests. A pitch with more life and we could have had a real contest. So for me they are still in the running for no.1 if they win the WTC and the Ashes.

India obviously won the series so they are ahead technically. Winning the WTC should solidify their case you would think.

England are still up in the air, need to win the Ashes convincingly to make their case.

I don’t have high hopes from Australia touring England. Reckon they will get demolished.

Main reason is Smith’s decline.

It’s not impossible to win a game in india by any means. Less than strong upper/ middle order and sporting wickets mean there is always a chance for the opposition to nick a game.
Well until more teams do it consistently it's damn near impossible to win even a test in India. Only 2 teams have done so, so far in the last tens years. And once Pant and Bumrah come back, I have high hopes the team will be fine again.
