Australia already have a par score IMO. 450 is a safe score.Worst session so far aus 62/3. Another strong session and aus would have bat India out of the game. Have given India a sniff now

Tbf I think the height and turn made the umpire not give it.Surprised it needed DRS, looked very out in real time.
Maybe, but if you're hit on the back foot standing square in front of your stumps, there's not a lot of guesswork involved for the umpire. Just seemed like one you'd see more often given than not.Tbf I think the height and turn made the umpire not give it.
Are we seriously considering that the guy who made 180 played badly? The end of the Khawaja vigil, 5 sessions for 180, the next 3 days will show how decent an innings that was.

Only scored 180 out of a possible 2526 runs available while he was in. Awful effort clearly. Are we seriously considering that the guy who made 180 played badly?
Do you mean Jim Carey or Alex ?Just got home and saw the Carey dismissal. Holy **** that was appalling
No, we're considering whether it has set up a winning position in a must win Test. Are we seriously considering that the guy who made 180 played badly?
Do you consider yourself a keen watcher of the game? Not entirely sure what Aus were trying to achieve in that session, they've gone precisely nowhere other than using up time they probably can't afford on this pitch.
It's also not the best Indian lineup to exploit it either. Their batting isn't the same as the one that consistently scored 500+ at home, nor is there a Pant-type that go 100(100) either.Have people seriously never watched a game on a flat pitch in India before? Aus could bat until lunch tomorrow and still have a good shot at victory, Days 4 and 5 on pitches like these are nothing like Days 1 and 2
There is just as much chance on a pitch like this that 400 in the first innings is responded to by 600 in the second. I'm watching this at the mo and seeing nothing in it still for the spinners.Have people seriously never watched a game on a flat pitch in India before? In which case why are we even talking about how much time Australia would need to take 20 wickets...?There is just as much chance on a pitch like this that 400 in the first innings is responded to by 600 in the second. I'm watching this at the mo and seeing nothing in it still for the spinners.
