Australian Domestic Season 2022-23

That’s the problem though - he got shoved at 3, which at that point in his development was not his spot. He’s a good cricketer - just down on confidence, and at this stage probably not good enough to hold a consistent shield spot. That’s a good thing though, shows SA cricket is getting better
Bit late on this one, but absolutely you are right that Scott's stint batting 3 really did him no good whatsoever, definitely did take a bit of time to recover. Has had a reasonably good year with the bat at both grade and state 2nd XI level, so I don't think he's miles off, but it is good for sure that the increased depth here in South Australia means there is more scope to be patient with him

Just having a look at the 2nd XI scores. They've gone back to calling ACT/Country NSW just ACT. So far as I can see there is not one player who currently plays Canberra grade.

Nope. The other I knew of (Vane-Tempest) also gone.
Ahh OK. Just had a look and it seems he is playing fulltime for Western Suburbs in Sydney grade now. Guess it isn't surprising he moved on, went to Canberra in the first place largely to study and I guess he would have completed that now

He plays for Wests now.

Edit: lol beaten by the bloke who asked the question. Doing well
How has he been going over there?

No easy way to tell with PlayHQ being really a bit crap, cbf manually checking through all the scorecards to work it out myself at this point. Might later if I remember

Delete the 'a bit'. I think I deluded myself in hoping that it might be an improvement over the bug-plagued MyCricket. Let's not mention the nightmare of last-minute team changes.
For all the many and varied problems that MyCricket has, it's truly remarkable that CA managed to find something even worse as a replacement.

Then again, one look at who the listed chairman of PlayHQ is probably explains why the decision was made

On another note, been a decent start from South Australia. Maybe a little short at times, but all in all pretty tidy

Fmd that drop hurt.

Real mixed innings from Inglis, a few really nice shots and a couple of absolutely rancid ones. Annoying tstl
