I don't like Imran at 6 if it can be avoided. I reckon drop one of the spinners for Mushtaq Mohammad. He gives you a second spinning option anyway, but also a proper top six bat.

Mushtaq Mohammad was a Leg Spinner and a good batsmen. This Team is Perfect Finally. Thanks for the suggestion.

Reason for Selection
1) I have taken Inzamam instead of Yousuf as his Avg was 50+ in both Pakistan and India. Yousuf didn't perform well in India with only an Avg of 33.73. However, he can replace Inzamam in Tests played in Pakistan.
2) I have Taken Off Spinner Saqlain Mushtaq over Abdul Qadir as he performed very well in India and as we already have a Leg Spinner Mushtaq Mohammed. Qadir can replace Saqlain in Tests played in Pakistan if required.
3) Took Srinath and Shami as they performed well in India compared to Zaheer and Ishant.
4) I will take Shoaib Akhtar for Tests in India as he had a very good record in India.

If Mohammad Yousuf comes in and Mushtaq Mohammed is out, there will be lot of pressure on 4 Bowlers as there are no part time bowlers in Pakistan batting lineup

Smith and Hammond should be there instead of Waugh and Border. Sutcliffe/Hutton and Ambrose/Wasim are ones I can go either way on.

I’d say probably Bradman/Hammond/Smith/Kallis.

Bradman is an attacking batsman so Hammond/Kallis at 4 is better than Smith, Hammond the better bat so he gets priority. Then you have Smith and Kallis, followed by Gilly.

Its a Very Good Team but only problem they have no left handed batsmen apart from Gilly, so who will be the Captain ?
