Mate, I’m well across the significance of that sort of thing, which is why both my kids have the initials AB.You seem to hate cities that start with your initials. BC.. Is it coz u r one? ?
Did you watch T20 WC Final in 2016 ?
Or ICC CT Final in 2006 ?
Heh @ potentialLast thing Australian cricket needs is the potential humiliation of losing to India at home again.
Most neutral venue would be AustraliaSince 2001 Ashes victory, record of IND/AUS in ENG is almost identical. So Eng can be as neutral venue as possible tbh .
But the problem is our priority is IPL and Steve Smith’s priority is county cricket .
You were foresighted enough to know De Villiers was gonna be an ATG. I can give you that.Mate, I’m well across the significance of that sort of thing, which is why both my kids have the initials AB.
From memory... he takes wickets vs SL in his first spell and then serves up trash for the rest of the inningsStarc has a great record in SL and did reasonably well in Pakistan. He generally does well in the subcontinent with reverse swing bowling. He is a massive loss if he doesn't play regardless of what his bowling average over two tests in India is atm
Was going to rate your post but see you've already done that.F

I think Indian batsmen have had a mental hold over him. Even the rookie Gill smashed him around, that too on a 5th day at the Gabba. Indian batsmen don't mind pace. What they don't like is accurate bowlers who bowl on a dime time after time. Boland for example. He is a weird one ain't it, by all indications a left armer of his pedigree should be absolutely destroying India every time, our team has struggled against worse ones. Yet he just gets spanked game after game against us - in all formats too.
All format stats aren't that great but just to have an idea he averages below 30 against every single team in them (and below 25 against all but two + India) - but against India he averages 37.
Doesn't make a lot of sense to treat SC pitches as homogenous. Equivalent of bucketing SA Aus and NZ pitches as one bucket.Starc has a great record in SL and did reasonably well in Pakistan. Yes, the 3-1 scoreline is a great disservice to the way England, particularly the bowlers did in that series.Lol England would have drawn the series 2-2 if not for Pant+ Sundar in 4th Test.
Our batting is absolutely garbage.
I am making a bold prediction: If Kohli fails in this series, he will be dropped from the Team.
If we have to bucket pitches, I will put Pakistan and Australia in one category rather than Pak-Ind-SL.Doesn't make a lot of sense to treat SC pitches as homogenous. Equivalent of bucketing SA Aus and NZ pitches as one bucket.
Is it because Pakistan can't win for **** in either place? If we have to bucket pitches, I will put Pakistan and Australia in one category rather than Pak-Ind-SL.
yes it would if it was held in a good stadium. India is cricket crazyAssume India were not playing, would there be any interest in a test final between two of the other 2 big test sides if they were to host it?
Need to be hosted at one of the metros and not in far flung nowhere lands like Nagpur.Assume India were not playing, would there be any interest in a test final between two of the other 2 big test sides if they were to host it?
