That's a classic ton. Well played.

Would've been in a dominant position now if they hadn't let the final partnership make 100+.

To some extent it's because Pakistan have successfully targeted him - hit him over his head etc.

But I still really don't think Bracewell should be into his 22nd over right now, having not taken a wicket, while Ajaz has bowled only 10 and Sodhi 16.
It feels a bit captaincy-by-numbers. There's a left hander in, therefore you must have an off-spinner on to turn it away from him. Think that's a bit of an obsession these days

Need some inspirational captaincy from Southee here. No longer able to control the flow of runs, and don’t want to be batting too late on day 4.

TBF doesn’t have the weaponry in these conditions especially with Ajaz out of form.

EDIT: Could that be it?!

Looks a pretty good player, Shakeel, from the very little I've seen of him. Gives himself time to get in, looks a bit stiff-legged when driving and can reach for the ball, but has controlled things well this innings.

Ah, bugger. Needed that

I think we are very lucky to get that, though it's about as close as it's possible to be. Probably a boot spike still touching at the point of impact imo.

Great take from Blundell though.

btw I thought the rule now was once you got in your ground for a run out you stayed in, even if your foot/bat subsequently went up? I guess that doesn’t apply for a stumping? In this case I don’t really follow the logic though….he was out, he got back in, isn’t he in?
