You dont need 20kg to trip a seatbelt alarm - at least not on regular priced cars. It just depends on how the shopping is placed. When it goes off for me a simple push is usually enough.

While we're all justifiably concerned for Pant here, he is to take the complete blame for this. The good thing is that there were no early morning walkers/joggers in that area, else it could have got really really ugly.

Bad take. Its an accident and it can happen to anyone. And its highly unlikely walkers or joggers would be on the median strip barriers
