That innings on that wicket was 100x better than a hack medium pacer being gifted 6-for let's be honest
It was undoubtedly Warner's best innings and if they'd won he should have been man of the match. Otherwise of course it should have been Bracewell.

Basically the Anderson of batting. Immense in home conditions but usually completely unreliable in terms of performing away from home. The main difference is Australians aren’t desperate and stupid enough to consider Warner an ATG with an away average approximating 34.

Christ on a bike mate - you're effing obsessed with Jimmy - you can being him in to any subject.

BTW Jimmy's average away from home isn't 34, it's 31. And if you include the matches in UAE it's 30.

If you're going to slag Jimmy off, at least have the decency to slag him off accurately.

He's referring to Jimmy's average in Australia, 34.01

Still inaccurate by 0.01 runs though

This is why CW always delivers. Inevitably fresh fish turns up every year or so.

I've been a member for nearly 20 years and I still struggle to tell whether you actually believe something or if it's just a bit, I wouldn't be too harsh.

Not fair to say Anderson struggles in Australia

With an average of 33.38, he struggles against Australia in his familiar English conditions as well

The Ashes in Australia happened to him.

Every so often England tries to feign embracing diversity, but it's swiftly dragged back to it's racist past.
England, like most countries, has its problems with racism and diversity and cricket has been no exception. What happened in Yorkshire was horrific and inexcusable.

But things are no different in Australian cricket are they.

I mean how many male Aboriginal cricketers have played for test cricket for Australia - a whopping 2 and one of them, Scott Boland only made his debut last year.

Racism is one of the scurges of the modern world and both The UK and Australia have alot more work to do in this area, both in the wider society and in cricket.

Idk how anyone can look at the lack of players from non-European backgrounds at the Australian team and look at it but anything but a massive long-term issue on talent identification grounds alone, let alone representation grounds, but I guess these are the same people who foam at the mouth at the captain mildly hinting that we should take climate change seriously.

In fairness there are a lot of people who are doing their utmost to change this. But they're not getting enough traction at the top level where the old guard still reigns.
