Has there ever been a more inevitable 100 from a player who's been struggling than Warner's today? Everyone and their dog knew it would happen but there was no form-related reason to think it would
The only similar one I can think of is Steve Waugh Sydney Ashes Test 2003 when he got to 100 off the last ball of the day. There were huge vibes around him that day with people thinking it could be his last Test in Australia

Seven sure loves missing the odd delivery so they can fit in more ads.
The gap between Fox and 7 seems to be getting a lot more stark. In previous summers I’ve felt the desire to put it on 7 a lot. This summer? Not often at all.

Warners age as well as form are fair enough reasons to talk about a replacement. Usmans age too. But until Renshaw started showing some form, and then only recently, there really weren’t any alternatives.

Quotas? This has been disappointing from the Proteas attack, not one wicket with the ball and playing against a guy who was under so much pressure to hold his spot. Rabada seems to have declined since the last time he came out to these shores. Nortje for all his pace can't break through. I would love a much better contest but this SA team is not those in recent memory. What has happened to their talent production line?
The talent isn't the issue. It's picking the right talent.
