20 Tests without a Test hundred , three consecutive calendar years averaging under 30 , it should no longer be a question of when he will be back. The question should be who is the next batsman who should be given an opportunity instead of Kohli . It seems nowadays the brand of the cricketer is more important than the performances.He was awful today, but Virat will be back.

Frankly even if he does get his form back, I'm now questioning whether it'd even be worth it considering three years of absolute rubbish. He has to have a 3-4 year golden run to make up for this extended slump, which seems extremely unlikely.He was awful today, but Virat will be back.
