*Official* Bangladesh v India 2022/23

Whatever it takes!!!
His stats are always deceptive though. He is close to unplayable for poor players of spin and tailenders but against good players of spin on good tracks he is almost club standard in how easily they can play him. As the game goes longer, I think he does become a bit more efficient and the fact that he can be smacked around matters a bit lesser, but its still a risk and I really dont think he will pose issues to the really good players as often. Still an excellent guy to have as 3rd spinner, esp. as in tests at least, he can bat time and help the batter at the other end.

Gill's maiden Test 100, and at a decent pace too. Not bad for someone who's been a bit flukey since Brisbane.

Its interesting that we think this about Pujara. He almost always accelerates well for declaration batting or batting with tail or after he makes a 100 or even a 50, esp. in SC conditions.

Pujara's fastest Test 100 ever, and India declare on 258-2 (61.4), leaving Bangladesh about 2 days to get 513 runs needed for victory.

Yeah, from all the SENA countries, he's only ever going to be good in Aus with his technique. But he definitely should be doing better in the SC.
