They’re both **** chokers - get a move on.
1. AB averaged 69 not 55 or 50But Kohli averaged 77, not 55 or 60. Can you name these batsmen and their averages with runs. Cause during Deviliers time: Dhoni, Taylor, Sangakkara and Amla(from what I found out till now maybe there could be more) average 54, 50, 53 and 53. If those batsmen in Kohli’s era averaged below 62, like Babar Azam averages 57, there is a 15 run difference between their average and Kohli’s. And also on what basis did you take 2010-15 and 2016-20 as separate eras of batting, except the average of other batsmen in that era. Was there some rule introduced or removed in 2015 that made batting easier? Also why take 2010 as the start of AB’s peak? He was also averaging 50+ in 2009, and if you take 2009-15 averages, AB averages 66, and Dhoni 57. Plus if you go by this logic, I can pick 2016-19, and say no one averages close to 80 that Kohli does, and remotely near 94 that Kohli does from 2016-18.
Gibbs, unlike Sachin, never had to face Kallis though, which improved his batting average.Gibbs had a good SR as well and like Sachin he faced quality bowlers.
All I can say is that Gibbs and Kallis are both match winners!Gibbs, unlike Sachin, never had to face Kallis though, which improved his batting average.
Yeah, but one for his own team, the other for the opposition. All I can say is that Gibbs and Kallis are both match winners!

Btw, I advice you have a shower...u look quite stinky in your profile pic!
Blah blah blah....Yeah, but one for his own team, the other for the opposition.
I know you are referring to 'h-hurricane'?When he appears there will be dust in the air and blood in the wind
Kohli’s stats for 2008-18(his career when Devilliers was active):10000+ runs@601. AB averaged 69 not 55 or 50
2. AB averaging 69 and rest below 55 means there is already a 15 runs gap between him and others, that too in relatively tougher period.
3. I dont know what made batting easier, but its evident from stats.
4. In his 3 year peak, Kohli's avg was 30-35% better than 2nd highest average batsman. AB's avg was 30% higher than 2nd best batsman for 6 years ( 2010-15).
Funny thing is, 90% of Kohli's Best years happened when AB was still active, and during these years AB's stats was simply better.

Kohli peak was in easier era, compared to AB. No doubt.Kohli’s stats for 2008-18(his career when Devilliers was active):10000+ runs@60
Devilliers stats from 2008-18: 7681 runs@60, at a higher SR, which I have conceded to Devilliers, but Kohli scored more runs(2500 more runs nearly) at the same average. So AB’s stats are simply not better, except for SR, and in run accumulation he is behind Kohli. This is despite the fact that Kohli debuted in 2008, while Devilliers was playing for 3 years, so at the start of the period, and hence Kohli has a disadvantage. Except for Rohit Sharma(65), everyone when has a minimum 15 average difference or infact more(Babar(57), Root(56), Taylor(61) included and 2 others) with Kohli in his five year peak(77), and even Sharma has a difference of 12 runs. Devilliers has 5 competitors(Kohli(51), Sangakkara(53), Amla(53), Taylor(50), Dhoni(54)), with similar 15 run differences(and actually no difference exceeding 20, like it does between Kohli and Babar, and Kohli and Root), with same no of competitors as in Kohli’s peak era. Even on the basis of this measure, there is negligible difference between the eras and certainly not an amount in basis which we can say Kohli’s era was easier for batting. This is the only basis on which you are stating that was a tougher era.
Note: You can say we are comparing 6 years of Devilliers Peak vs 5 of Kohli, but that is only because if you include 2010 from 2010-15, and take 2011-15, or exclude 2015 and take 2010-14, Devilliers average would drop from 69 in the respective period. Plus in these 6 and 5 years peaks, Kohli despite having one year less in his peak considered, scored more or less same number of runs as Devilliers in the latters six year peak.

Boss, I have given you stats based on your chosen measure, and proved it wrong to declare 2016-20 as easier than 2010-15. Please give reason, rather than repeating verbatim, that because of some great reason Kohli’s peak was in easier era, and this stats reason doesn’t work.Kohli peak was in easier era, compared to AB. No doubt.
AB and Kohli averages roughly the same after era adjustment, AB is 1 or 2 league above Kohli in aggression.
Kohli played more matches.. Hence more runs.. Thats not an evidence of superiority.
What is Kohli's record on bouncy grassy South African pitches. And what is AB's?Also Devilliers might be a league above Kohli in SR, but not 2 leagues. Same as Kohli, a league above everyone in run accumulation and average
Kohli average 76 for close to 1000 runs. Devilliers average 52 for 4000+ runs. But ofcourse Devilliers has played more at home, and Kohli has hit nearly 1000 runs there. Kohli better here as well.W
