NoJust do paper, scissors, rock.
Clearly if India got to bat second they would have won the semi-final by 10 wickets, not EnglandDumb thread. Other than the 2019 final nothing was really out of the ordinary in terms of luck.
Does that mean india would have bowled england out for 15?Clearly if India got to bat second they would have won the semi-final by 10 wickets, not England

Also lost group game here to Ireland and only got through because of rain saving them from a thrashing at the hands of AussiesNow that we’ve made the token objective post, ridiculed sunilz, and GIMH is asleep, holy **** England are so lucky.
Ball hitting Stokes bat and going for overthrows??? Stokes getting out but one of the best fielders in the business steps on the rope?? Boundary count?? Escaping prison time?? Opposition’s best bowler gets injured?
May well have beaten Ireland but for the rain. As for the Aussies, their white ball record in recent times would suggest otherwise. Also lost group game here to Ireland and only got through because of rain saving them from a thrashing at the hands of Aussies
Lol. I expect England would've thrashed Australia. The rain helped Australia. Also lost group game here to Ireland and only got through because of rain saving them from a thrashing at the hands of Aussies
I think the saying in regards to stokes is harder I punch luckier I getThere are a lot of 'sour grapes' posts in this thread.
Talk of luck is focusing on small aspects of the game.
Two quotes regarding luck in sport are worth remembering:
"You make your own luck."
"The harder I work/practise the luckier I get."
As for the regular knockers of Stokes regarding an episode in the past - the case was dealt by the courts and to consistently drag up the past is tiresome and irrelevant to cricket.
If the saying "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" is accurate then we have a lot of saints on CW.
L&L brother I think on closer inspection you'll find that everyone in this thread, except possibly the OP, is not being entirely seriousThere are a lot of 'sour grapes' posts in this thread.
