It's a lot better than the 220 England looked like scoring at one stage.

But then it's not quite as much of a road as initially thought, wonder if England will even try get some overs from a third spinner (Livingstone?).

If there is such a thing as an overrated T20 player Ben Stokes is one of them .
Only gets picked because of his reputation in the other two formats .
He had that one IPL season where he absolutely gunned it opening the batting.

But outside of that one tournament the only thing he's done of note in the format is bowl that over to Carlos Brathwaite.

Like most games between England and New Zealand I can't call this and it is going to be a nailbiter. This pair have provided some brilliant matches in the last 5 years, probably more good matches against each other than any other pair of sides.

May the best side win.

Noted idiot is actual idiot non-shocker.

England well below par here, IMHO. Especially from the platform we had.

Just seen Kane's non-catch on replay on the Beeb's site (I'm actually working from the office today like what we did in the olden days), not an absolutely fantastic look, is it?

Hope Dark Kane is able to show us a different side to what we’ve seen of his batting lately. Looks like the kind of scenario where the powerplay is your best opportunity to score heavily.

I think he was trying for the old 'so conspicuous, it's inconspicuous' trick.

That absolutely looked like it was going to be out the whole way until the very end. Remarkable arse-saving there from Dev.
