In terms of consistent pace possibly, but don't forget both Lockie Ferguson & Umran Malik both recorded speeds in excess of 157kms earlier this year. I don't recall either Wood or Nortje quite reaching those speeds.
Yeah Ferguson and Rauf are just as quick as Nortje and Wood on average imo.

Malik is a bit of a meme at this point, and not at the tournament at all. Would be like bringing up Lance Morris.

I was surprised by Rauf's pace in the NZ tri-series, he was doing 150+ in games where Southee was struggling to get above 125, but does Rauf bowl at that kind of pace in ODIs?

Nortje and Wood are perpetually quick regardless of the format.

Bangers putting in an almost Australia-level bad performance here. And that's with SA playing the mercy card and bowling a couple of finger spinners at them.

Rauf seems to be improving as well as getting faster at a very quick rate which is a surprise as he is already 29 not the best
age when Pakistani pacers get good.

Not bad for a domino's pizza delivery guy who randomly decided to have a go for Lahore Qalandars open trials 5 years back as he was getting bored with his day job.

Unfortunately that's this SA team in a nutshell , not really a team I guess with all the politics around it is hard to be one . Everyone looks out for themselves first , thats kinda the reason why Rossouw has never played Test cricket despite his outrageous talent.
What the hell are you talking about?... never played Test cricket because he went kolpak...

Isn't that looking after himself?
I did not read it that way... it read more as his selfishness meant he did not get picked by the selectors... rather than he made a personal decision and made himself unavailable.

If he made himself a Kolpak player, how is he repping for SA here? Have the rules changed?

Kolpak no longer exists, thus the restriction of not being able to play for your country has gone away. Hence the return of a number of SA players that were previously unavailable e.g Harmer.
