Bumrah starts his runup with both hands clasping the ball awkwardly and arms swaying back and forth, and then into his delivery his arms go up stiffly like he is a GI Joe action figure, and then the release is this weird flick from his wrists. Really ungainly.

Compare that to Cummins, who has a classic, balanced, athletic bowling run up and clean, no-nonsense front-on delivery and follow through.

And still they're close enough in effectiveness to have this discussions. Again, wankoffs are supposed to be private not public.

I remember wondering how Bumrah managed to bowl at all with his action when I first saw him. It's unique, never really seen one much like it before. He's quality though. Been a primary reason India has consistently produced decent results. The old rule in test cricket still applies - the best teams have quality pace attacks.

Actually Cummins career is similar to my *** life. I lost my virginity at 17 but had to wait till 24 for my next move. So yeah I've been ***ualy active since then on paper yet anything but in reality
And, like Cummins, you starred in your first outing with both bat and ball?

Him, Ishant and Shami are a potent attack. Frankly India should have achieved more with them.

L&L is unhappy because Pat Cummins has said he won't appear in ads for the fossil fuel company which is sponsoring the test side, but has the temerity - the absolute gall - to drive a petrol fueled car.

Or something.

I'm sure if he refused to wear a pride cap, L&L would rate him a freedom fighter.

I think L & L is still angry about Cummins being seen to have been complicite in the ousting of WA's favourite son, and the whole climate change thing has given him an opportunity to have another go.

Was reading an article about a human rights lawyer the other day who has been involved in some climate change stuff, and she has been faced with similar criticism because she has to fly around the world to represent people/present a case. When asked about this, she essentially said there are bigger issues at hand than how she travels to do her job.

Absolutely Cummins could drive more environmentally-friendly vehicles. Would it make as much of an impact as aligning himself with organisations that are trying to make a difference, or speaking out about it given his profile? Probably not. Doing so now would just be an attempt to silence the troglodytes who will always find a reason to criticise because they don't believe in the overarching issue.

*Note: I wrote this without my glasses as I forgot to bring them to work today. It's been the equivalent of running a marathon, so I am off for a good lie down.

love cumdog but bumrah for me

cummins is reliable and can win games for you more consistently but bumrah brings joy when he is at his best

pure magic and electricity with his swing in west indies, his pace, unique action and bowling magic balls that breaks games open out of nowhere

Whatever it takes!!!
Cummins is like Sachin and Bumrah is like Lara, I guess, but the fact that Cummins stays on the park far more definitely counts in his favor here.
