Have you been to America, particularly the South/Mid-Atlantic? Some of the "cars" you see going around there make crossover SUVs (which are the standard cars in that part of the world) look positively compact. It's ****ing ludicrous, so many toddlers must get run over by their own parents reversing those behemoths because it's totally impossible to see.
Texas is full of Silverados

In my most recent trip there, which was earlier this year, I was given an automatic upgrade at the rental car place to a pick-up truck for the lowest car price. I refused and took the Corolla instead.

Oh, btw, it was a hybrid.
Toyota Corolla is the ultimate budget friendly American car, equivalent to our Maruti 800 in India.

Never disliked SUVs until the day when I was driving through the city of New Orleans and had a nightmare experience with parking. Promised myself to stay away from SUVs forever after that experience!

So the answer to the poll is clearly HB

Coming back to the OP, Cummins is surely an ATG in the making especially after following his performances in Pakistan, 12 wickets @ 22.5 is tier 1 quality of bowling.

Bumrah may go quiet on ocassions but he can bowl those match winning spells like getting Root out immediately after Tea Break at Lord's on final day and his barrage of yorkers at the Oval cleaning up Pope and Bairstow.

He gets the flak for not being able to bowl out sides recently during the 4th innings, not always his fault though. Dropped catches and collapses from our batting side didn't help our cause either.

I find this sort of criticism of Bumrah about 4th innings bit harsh. As Spark noted, you could make the same criticism of Cummins, especially the last two Indian tours here.

Yeah but against India and in Pakistan recently, Cummins was taking wickets in the second innings when the other pacers werent.

Bumrah went missing three times in a row on the last day on fairly sporting bowling wickets. That's pretty hard to swallow for a worldclass bowler.

I have shown with detailed stats analysis that Bumrah is better. Bet your spreadsheet also agrees.
Yes, I took 36 factors and Bumrah wins in 20 of those compared to 16 for Cummins. So, stats wise, it is clearly Bumrah for now.
