55/25 as well as an excellent fielder. Just needs to learn how to bowl away from the SC.OP, how good is this Ravindra Kallis though? I need stats to determine his ranking.
This for me too, though if it was purely based on their respective peaks I would go for Viv.Sachin's longevity beats Viv's peak.
Isn't Kallis the bowler decent away from SC as well? We will call upon the Kallis part in SENA and the Ravindra part to bowl in SC.55/25 as well as an excellent fielder. Just needs to learn how to bowl away from the SC.
Yeah but there is no special reason to take 76 away and every reason to include it in the assessment of Viv. It was the most dominating year of form against top class bowling in history.Sachin
Viv when you take away '76 was Damien Martyn level, statistically
Yeah and purely from a chess perspective it's probably Tendulkar but that's not the question.Purely from the entertainment/excitement aspect it has to be Viv.
I was simply giving my opinion from one perspective. Where would CW be if everyone had to precisely address every question without elaboration?Yeah and purely from a chess perspective it's probably Tendulkar but that's not the question.
Heaven.Where would CW be if everyone had to precisely address every question without elaboration?
While it is true that Sachin was never really dominant against pace like Viv was, he was pretty good against pace for a very long period over over 15 years.Sachin better vs spin but Viv miles better vs pace and most great teams are centered around pace. Therefore Viv for me.
Given the recent goings on in the chess world, are you suggesting Tendulkar was a cheat?Yeah and purely from a chess perspective it's probably Tendulkar but that's not the question.
