Even if it was 100% accurate, it's pretty arbitrary to judge anyone based on that. Bloke could survive the 150k bowler then get out to the spinner at the other end because he's shaken up and takes a risk he otherwise wouldn't have
Or in Steve Smith's case he literally was concussed and missed a game (which England won) by a 140kph+ delivery, which wouldn't go against his stats but was worth way more than just 1 wicket

Number of innings is very less compared to Waugh, Silva and Tendulkar. Some of those centuries from Aravinda I can assure scored while taking the fastest in the attack to the cleaners.No one took this seriously but facts support this.

Richards clearly the Better Player of Pace , Lara clearly the better player of spin , all formats and all facets of cricket included its not even a contest , as a pure test batsmen? richards in my honest opinion , The King of Antigue is probably less likely to play for himself then the prince of port of spain

I don't think any ATG player plays for himself. Only those players who are circumspect about their place in the team slightly play for themselves so as to safeguard a permanent position.

Tendulkar, Viv, Lara. but all close. Tendulkar more circumspect, Viv had better reflexes than the others while Lara was more likely to be caught behind for me.
