Sad part is he is still the best leggie in India and in the last 2 years, has become our best T20 spinner. Still feel Ashwin was that till at least about 2020.

Indian spin stocks in limited overs are quite average and been for some time pretty weird considering the incredible success of the same bowlers in the test format.

I'll take young bishnoi over chahal anyday in T20.. Offers us a lil bit of X factor. His performance has been great so far at Int'l level. Scores over Chahal in the field too

I think Ashwin and Jadeja are the best limited overs slow bowlers even today. India for some reason don't bowl them Prepare some pitches with a tinge of turn, so natural variations come to play, these two are the best around.

In T20s, Ashwin has been our best spinner for ages now but I do feel since 2020 Chahal has gone past him. Ash is still easily 2nd best. But in ODIs, I would say even Jaddu is ahead of Ash these days. He is not that good unless he is bowling with the new ball in ODIs.

Bishnoi has potential but I really dont think he is better than Chahal or even at that level yet.

It's funny how there has been little hype for this game when this is the one with actual stakes involved for the tournament the first encounter was more like a glorified friendly with both teams expected to get through.

Might also be because its becoming a win the toss bowl first Asia cup (just like last year's World Cup)

Maybe if they face off in the finals.... Build up didn't had enough time this time I think. Short turnaround for teams.

Everytime I see Bishnoi play... He seems to does better than Chahal... Right from the debut series at home vs WI.
That awesome performance vs Eng at a pancake in TB comes to mind. Everyone except him were carted around.
