looks like a great knock from Allen, and a knock no one predicted from him. Great stuff, good to see a guy actually improve in this team rather than slide back. Solid 40 from Daryl Mitchell too by the looks.

Good start from the old firm. Need to keep driving it home boys.

Hope out, reckon that could be game unless Pooran does something awesome. Hard to have any faith at all in the rest of the lineup.

That’s a superb catch, gives NZ a real chance. Had Mitchell held on to that catch off Hope, NZ would probably be favourites.

Lol, guess this makes up for the relative lack of specialist bowling options. This new ball effort has been fun to watch.

They don't even have Hetmeyer, rip.
Yeah you look at the lineup and you'd have to reckon 75%+ of the runs would need to come from Pooran and Hope. I suppose Brooks has done a reasonable job of being a Discount Hope so far in his ODI career but neither his technique nor his domestic List A record give me much confidence in him continuing to do that.
