Ecclestone might be getting a fine for that. Not a good look.
They are in a transformation phase. Too many youngsters coming in at a time. Plus Brunt will retire soon making it tougher for them to compete at the top level for next couple of years.England have been below par this whole tournament. Poor batting performance from them.
I'm not sure that's an excuse today - NZ has at least as many young and inexperienced players as England. They are in a transformation phase. Too many youngsters coming in at a time. Plus Brunt will retire soon making it tougher for them to compete at the top level for next couple of years.
Definitely below par today by their standards. But I was refering to their tournament form in general.I'm not sure that's an excuse today - NZ has at least as many young and inexperienced players as England.
Just seems like England haven't turned up for the bronze medal match today.
I think they’ve tried too many things that haven’t quite worked out. Ecclestone opening the bowling is just a weird call to me and Dunkley hasn’t quite fired this tournament. They are in a transformation phase. Too many youngsters coming in at a time. What's worse than Ecclestone opening the bowling is to see Capsey being given the second over against India. That was a shocking move imo.I think they’ve tried too many things that haven’t quite worked out. Their team balance is a bit off with youngsters coming in and batting at key positions (3 and 6). Plus not having Dean in the squad is really odd considering her style of bowling.
