South Africa doing great against SL. They'll bundle them out for a very low score here. SL needed Chamari to turn up but it just hasn't happened in this tournament.

Outstanding figures for Nadine de Klerk. She always seems to do well in games I see her playing - wonder why she spent most of this tournament on the bench.

She played in the last match against England, so that's two out of South Africa's three matches that she's played in. :)

But she didn't play in the T20 series against England. For some reason they preferred Klaas, which I don't really understand as De Klerk is the better bowler and I'm not aware of her being injured.

Ah, missed that, sorry - wasn't able to watch that game, so I only noticed she wasn't in the NZ game (and I could have sworn that when I checked her Cricinfo profile, it said her most recent game was an ODI against England last month - that's no longer the case now).

Not only do i think Australia will thrash england like they are the under 12s. I think new zealand are far superior to england. And englands best medal chance is bronze.
Anyone who didn't know Davado was currently banned, may well think that he's in hiding at the moment.

I'm sorry but as well as England have bowled, this is miserable from the Kiwis. Massive massive gulf between the two teams

Woefully plain for all to see.
Perhaps I could be wrong, but reckon if I was given 10 innings in 20 overs I'd manage more than 71 runs, and I was hopeless 20 years ago.

All I know about the women's game in NZ is that it's incredibly broken, and there is so, SO much that needs to be done to fix it. The pathways, the talent ID, the quality or lack thereof of our domestic game, even the environment when we can have so much fallout and turnover of senior players as happened after the World Cup.

Hopefully this is a wake-up call, because that innings was pathetic. I don't feel good saying that, but it was. We are so far off England and Australia, and others teams are coming for us too.

Unfortunately get the top 3 and there is very little batting there (although Green and Halliday might get to 20). Even if they play their absolute best they won't beat Australia in the semi, but if the top 3 fire in the bronze medal match you never know. When Bates and Devine retire NZW will drop to minnow level.

Went as well tonight. Always a bit of a shame when you get a T20 like that but still enjoyed it. Weird to sit in the Hollies without a beer snake in sight.
