Personally I think Brandon played too many dot balls for a chase of 300 plus.

Nice to see a decent ODI pitch in the Caribbean and a decent match as a result.

Btw wtf was umpire Reifer doing at the end there? When he gave Romario out it was clearly a wide. That extra delivery could have been vital.

My thoughts exactly with regards to King. I even posted about it when he was going at a SR of 60 during his innings.

You know what they say about Guyana and Trinidad?
We have everything opposite. Chicken curry and curry chicken. So coming from Guyana where the pitches were slow and run scoring was difficult to this in Trinidad where it’s much more conducive for the batsmen. Lol

I just hope that Motie is fit and ready for the next match. Nothing serious with that thumb

India needs to sort out that middle order. Feels like we need a left hander in there for those left arm spinners. They did bowl tightly than us. I'd like to see Kishan over Samson in there.

Overall can be a exciting series. Well done to Windies for a great game. They should have won it in the end though. India did panic a lot.

how does that nullify what I said? And he will always be good coz his good balls are interspersed between his bad balls. And his batting is always a bonus at 8. An AA++ with the bat and an AA- with the ball. I dont see why he cannot play for a while for us across formats.

I feel Prasidh will get the drop for Arshdeep…cause a left-arm pacer will add variety to the Indian bowling lineup.

If you mean it is his worst format as a bowler, I agree. But I still think there is utility in having him in this format, esp. coz he can really contribute so much more with the bat. Ideally we will have D Chahar at 8 and Bhuvi/Shami at 9.

Shardul has lost good pace over last year or so & is now a short medium pace trundler. Deepak Chahar will likely replace him once he gets fit. Already has shown what he can do with the bat in SL & SA in ODIs. With the ball there's no comparison.
There's the U19 player Hangargekar who was with CSK but didn't get a game. Guy bowls close to 90mph & tonk sixes at the back end. Maybe next IPl we will see him playing for CSK.

I think Dravid will give him full ODI series as of now. He is strong believer in stability.
Arshdeep though will surely get a game ahead of T20s.

He picked up a thumb injury after attempting a catch in the previous match. He probably sprained or fractured it.
