Cricketer Of The Year
Sir Josephine Root, methodical, meticulous, calm, calculated, he's just so bloody good.
Where would England be without him now, the saving face of English cricket without a doubt.

So based on those players good as chance he stays as good (not like this good but still elite) as he does fall off. Only Ponting that properly fell off. Maybe issue for Root as he is very much a hands/eyes player like Ponting rather than a great leaver of the ball

Root should be aiming for Cook's tally. Should retire at the highest scoring Englishman. Fitting to have a Yorkshireman on top again.

What's the over/under on Stokes' innings strike rate when he comes to the crease?

Around 140 I reckon, regardless of whether we're close to parity or not when he bats.
Eh he is often quite a circumspect starter, especially when he is playing well. SR only a few percent higher than Root

Really interesting stats there Magrat.
How good was Kumar for Sri Lanka, one of the very best players ever imo.

Who knows given how relaxed he should be with the match state, should certainly make for interesting viewing.

Well, he rode his luck throughout that knock. Well played. Looked more and more solid as he went on.

Now pls collapse.
