I see Crewe were officially relegated yesterday, which means the other three League 2 Covid promotion benefactors have gone back down within two seasons.

Delighted with that, got fond memories of dodging missiles at Gresty Road in stoppage time when we won there and the home fans decided to bombard us on the terraces from the street behind the away end with the police stood there doing nothing.

As for League 1 it will be another tough division next season as only one of Sheffield Wednesday or Sunderland can go up but no guarantee either will and Portsmouth, Bolton, Charlton and Ipswich are staying down and add Derby to it and there will be loads of huge clubs for the level again. Peterborough will no doubt do a Rotherham/Wycombe again and be right up there in the promotion hunt. Could be Plymouths one chance to go up a bit like it was for us 4 years ago.

Division 4 could be tough too if Wrexham come up, still got the likes of Bradford, Mansfield and Salford with lots of money, and Stockport look good. So I hope we will be up with you lot. and get those big crowds in. Financially we're secure, so we should be able to add. Defence and midfield are good enough to compete there, need about three strikers and probably a 'keeper if dawson goes back to Wednesday, but if we go up we should be able to attract those.

Just had a look at the League Two fixtures. It’s just possible with the right combination of results elsewhere that Exeter could clinch promotion at Tranmere.

**Edit** Actually it isn’t because of Mansfield only being on 40 games currently.

‘If’

You guys are up.
Not over until it's mathematically done. Nah I'm as confident as you can be. Difference this year to many others is we have an incredible defence, Stubbs is a Championship player at least, and Hartridge is a rock. The likes of Diabate can't get in the side, and he may end up being the best of them.

This season has felt very disjointed to me and for various reasons I haven’t really got into it, but it’s hard to beat a top two clash in April with an open title race. Feels like it’s been a while.

I always feel like Liverpool have the edge in one-off games. I can see them winning today but City still winning the title.

Yeah great game, draw was probably fair.

It hadn’t really struck me until today how much better Liverpool’s front players are than City’s these days. Probably a good time to move Sterling on if they can get a decent fee.
