I was just about to say it's been a goodish CW day when Tranmere conceded a 7th minute of injury time equaliser with 9 men. I know Shrewsbury lost but they're okay where they are now.

Absolute screw job. Only conclusion today is that the ref didn’t want us to win because nobody can be that bad.

They’ll scrape together a couple of wins and the media narrative will be that Frank ‘kept them up’, despite the fact that they weren’t actually in much danger of relegation when he arrived.

Anyway, I made my occasional trip to Wembley today to watch the Papa John final. Good match, and tough on Sutton to concede the equaliser in the 95th minute. Rotherham obviously the stronger side though.

Sounds like we were terrific last night. I've only seen the highlights, and (1) you really are unlucky when Ayew finishes like that and (2) what was the Arsenal defender thinking taking out Zaha from behind when the danger had passed. Not that the penalty altered the result though. Looking at the chat boards, the biggest downside seems to be that we won't keep Viera for very long if Palace keep playing like this. Whether he eventually replaces Arteta or Gardiola remains to be seen.
