2023 World Cup feels an age away at this point. Surely Australia need to start phasing him out in white ball cricket soon.

No idea who the hell our next white-ball captain should be. Giving it to Cummins given the nature of the modern ODI calendar doesn't feel the right option.

He'd probably make the most sense, yeah. But would Australia want to give it to someone who's not an automatic pick in the Best XI?
