*Official* Australia in Pakistan 2022

Whatever it takes!!!
No need to gambhir @trundler . The Aussie attack is not that experienced outside of Zampa, so should bank on big runs with the dew in the back half. Pak favorites for me.

This tour is turning into a bit of an unexpected fillip for the Aus side across both formats so far.

Lol... the fact that they lost does not make anything I said in my post invalid. The Aussie attack is inexperienced and Pak were favorites chasing under lights with dew around. They just messed it up.

The real issue for you guys is the Finch-Warner partnership and whether they both will be good for the WCs coming up soon.

Aus fielding a Z team might be a positive in the end if it helps them realise Head needs to be an ODI opener. Suits him perfectly and Finch shouldn't be near the team

I didn't see any of the second innings but based on what I saw in the first, chasing 300 on a wearing pitch did seem like a very tall task.

The bits I watched, seemed like there wasn't much dew until the very end and the bounce was pretty uneven. That coupled with too defensive a mindset early on, and the result was inevitable.

When's the last time Finch had a real extended run of form? Feels like he's been on the way out for several years at this point, though that may be his BBL performances colouring my perception. His averages are still healthy but it feels like he never scores anymore.

Well this has all but slipped away too. This is where Australia is so much better in both tests and ODIs. They've managed to rotate the strike and cash in on half trackers.
