*Official* England in West Indies 2022

"Not sure about that decision," muses Patrick. "Looked like the ball deviated after it passed the bat, but I'll take it."

"Definite inside edge there, and I'm an England fan," reckons Chris. "Bonner has every right to be aggrieved there. Visible deviation, I'm amazed that didn't get overturned."

Yeah we're rubbish at batting. If you combine that with a toss and conditions that completely nullify our bowling, it's licks.
I thought I saw crap batting last night, but today it's the same...dot balls after dot balls. No intent to rotate the strike.

Digging themselves into a hole.

I hate to harp on about it but I genuinely don't see what we have to lose by tearing this batting lineup up and giving Evin Lewis and Nicholas Pooran a go (Hety too when he stops eating rotis).

That's out
This is hilarious if you think about it. It's literally 2 teams batting on different surfaces in a test, all within the first innings! Not sure this is a great look for test cricket tbh, the toss will play too much of a role in the result. Still a better spectacle than Antigua though!

The current selectors are picking the squads based on performances in the regional circuit. Hetmyer played a couple of games and sucked.

Pooran is not making any intentions on playing red ball cricket...I believe the last time he played red ball cricket was in New Zealand.

I'm uncertain about Lewis.

My point of view is that we have nothing to lose as the incumbants are so bad.
