Surprisingly, they have only played 5 tests together ! Though, the reason is that Bumrah hasn't played much home tests previously when both Ashwin and Jadeja played. And overseas, India not really played two spinners at the same time a lot.

Bumrah - 17 wickets @ 24.23 SR 55.5
Jadeja - 17 wickets @ 14.82 SR 31.0
Ashwin - 19 wickets @ 23.68 SR 58.7

As always, Jadeja rules !

Each of Shami, Ishant, Umesh, Bhuvi, Shardul have better SR than Bumrah. But Bumrah is the only one taking >4wpm (besides Bhuvi who has played just 4 tests in this period). Shows Bumrah is bowling more overs per game and he seems to like that way, something we wouldn't have expected given his bowling action that supposedly puts lot of strain on his body.

PS. wish Bhuvi was playing tests!

Yeah. Bhuvi should have at least been given a single chance to fail. Will retire with a good test record like Kambli.

Bhuvi would be so damn useful in England and SA especially because of the lower order batting. A real shame his career ended up the way it did.

Dropping Pujara and Rahane and bringing in Iyer has already borne a fruit. Not sure about Vihari but he should be given at least two full series. Who do we replace him with if he were to fail? Any promising player knocking the door in domestic?
