Simple question. Hadlee is no 1. Who is no 2? Give reasons for your answer.
Best I could do unfortunately.Trying to figure out how Jadeja can be the answer to this thread, but actually struggling for once.
Sounds like England's situation except Trueman wasn't as good as Hadlee.Daylight to second. An ATG followed by a bunch of almost VGs
I saw both and remain a Trueman fan. Besides, Trueman has names like Bedser, Larwood, Tyson, Willis, Snow et al behind himSounds like England's situation except Trueman wasn't as good as Hadlee.
Jadeja is still the correct answer.Trying to figure out how Jadeja can be the answer to this thread, but actually struggling for once.
Southee IMO - has the longevity, and really very Anderson-like.
A bunch of dickheads on CW didn't rate him in the ATG All Rounder thread. He clearly took it personally.Best I could do unfortunately.

Which unofficial Tests are those? His Wiki page only refers to the NZ touring side of 1937 playing 3 matches in Australia on the way home, and they were against state teams. (Cowie took 3-72 against SA, including dismissing Bradman for 11; 4-76 and 2-27 against NSW; and didn't play against Victoria).I'd go Cowie.
12 year career. Shame about the war.
Although, perhaps I'd want to look into his record in the unofficial 'tests' v Australians, as well. And include that. Cant remember how he went.
