Also, the decider of the U25 series between Dynamo and *CC has started. Two changes for Dynamo, new signing Akalsukh Bhatti replaces last match hero Louis Kotze and in a horses for courses selection Nishad Savundrayanagam replaces Darren Hollioake. The hosts unchanged from Thursday.

unfortunately this is the same XI we'll be fielding in the league tomorrow! Welp.
I thought about playing Arif Jalal and Zack Yattack given they're both 25 too, but since they don't feature in my long term plans I've left them out again.
ZCC main XI 122/3 in the Cup, need 77 in 22 overs to make it to Round 5! So close to the perfect week here, hope they can finish it off.

Perfect week accomplished! 6/6 in the leagues for ZCC and FHK, followed by a successful Cup match for ZCC today! Round 4 here we come.
Highlight of the week was Nathan Law's career best 121 on Friday. Came off just 81 balls, and helped us set 334/6 at home against a higher-rated opponent. A 67 run win followed, keeping FHK in 4th in Americas 2.1. Awesome performance.
Decent effort vs GG CC in a Dev friendly today. 38k rated side scored 200 and took 7 wickets, hopefully they put up this much of a fight tomorrow!
And right now ZCC U25s need 228 to beat Morpork and win the series 2-1. Flat pitch with a lot of wear. Morpork got to 139-1 before Ahsan broke the partnership, 60s for Bhatti and Aye. Chung Yiu 3/30 with an average BQ of 7.9. Quiet start to the chase so far.

Congrats, fun series! No sting in the tail yesterday. 158/6 to 176 a/o. Nice to see Halliday get into the game but Raun and Ahsan not kicking on + Shahboss runout were key. Tim Chester disappointing as well, expected better from him.

good stuff. I was bidding on them both for a bit but realised they didn't fit my current progression plans.
ZCC signed 3 young batters last week. Only keeping one of them, bit of waste. That too just to make up the numbers for when Jamal Madani ages out. Actually need a really good young batting prospect (45 pot+) but don't have the funds and there aren't many on the market. Hope my scouts come through soon.

ZCC have drawn Admirers of the Gavin Hamilton Test Averages in Round 4 of the Cup. Tough game, but winnable. Hashim and Zack's careers at the club have been extended by another 2 weeks lol.

The weirdest part is that one can check the commentary file and see that (a) the scores were not quite as high and (b) Daniel Rowan's has been denied a century in his career stats.
I just bowled my five worst bowlers and tried to get a massive score lol. 411 was chased down in a canter thanks to Michael Winton's first century.
A lot of instances of someone bowling to themself also; I think Daniel Rowan dropped himself, remarkably.
