Yeah Herath for me too.
I think the two that are probably the closest out of those were Chandra and His Roundness. The average gap between Benaud and Harbhajan/Lyon is massive, whereas Swann's Test career wasn't very long + probably replicated his peak. Jadeja's had the advantage of a very home-skewed record while Rhodes did it in an era of bowling that was pretty simple.Herath - 433 wickets @ 28.07 (SR 60, Econ 2.80)
Harbhajan - 417 @ 32.46 (68.5, 2.84)
Lyon - 415 @ 31.79 (64.2, 2.96)
Swann - 255 @ 29.96 (60.1, 2.98)
Chandraskehar - 242 @ 29.74 (65.9, 2.7)
Ravi Jadeja - 232 wickets @ 24.84 (61.7, 2.41)
Rhodes - 127 wickets @ 26.96 (64.7, 2.49)
Yea which then compounds the point - like I said, let's see how this goes but there's a very real chance that he's outside the top 20 in spinners and outside the top 15 or so in all rounders. Which is nuts.I dunno if Jadeja makes it in the spinners list but its definitely stupid if he does not make the allrounders list soon.
Totally my stance too. Those who have been voted so far are better but Jadeja does deserve to be top 20 in spinners and top 15 in all-rounders. That will be perfectly valid.Yea which then compounds the point - like I said, let's see how this goes but there's a very real chance that he's outside the top 20 in spinners and outside the top 15 or so in all rounders. For the record I have no problem with the current all rounder ranking or those included above him so far...but he should be getting his spot very, very soon if not next up.
But let's see...don't fail me CW.
