2 test series...

2/0 Whitewash... dismal. They always are.
1/1 ... dismal, cos we need more. This is not a result.
1/0 with weather intervening... dismal. Weather in one game should not shape a series.
1/0 with no weather... pretty much never happens anymore.

Prove me wrong NZ.
Everyone agrees and there is the occasional post lamenting NZC's poor test scheduling, especially making this a two test series... but it's only occasional as there seems little point posting 'two test series sux' on repeat, even though they absolutely do.

Draw isn’t out of realm of possibility. NZ tail has previously shown it can be done.
!? NZ wont last until tea.

Edit - written before Blundell wicket. If you were thinking of Sodhi and Wagner against England then yes it is possible, I didn't realise how similar it was. In that game NZ were 4 down at lunch, 8 down and draw at stumps. de Grandhomme 45 (97), Sodhi 56* (168), Wagner 7 (103). Bowlers Anerson, Broad, Wood, Leach + Root.

Jamo getting sledged: "no big fist pump and a celebration now when you come out to bat.....he'll give it away".

I hope we don't just give it away in a heap here. There's nothing in the pitch, teams have drawn games from worse positions - actually make an effort to try and save the game rather than throwing the bat lazily because you think that's the way to play.

Welp, never going to see a series win over South Africa ever at this rate
The other time we threw away a series victory against SA at home was that 2004 series where we were 1-0 up coming into the last test and ballsed it up against Nicky Boje.

That shot says Nope.

Would be on theme to end this with our last three wickets caught on the third man boundary, like someone suggested earlier.
