Have I voted for Victor Trumper yet in this round? I'm losing track.

Just assume a vote for Trumper from me every round until he gets in. Which, as it stands, looks like being about number 164.

We all know that photo of Trumper. I feel in the eyes of many, before Bradman Trumper was known as Australia's greatest test bat. It was more than his stats, it was the way he got them etc, plus batting conditions were tougher at the turn of the century. But outside of this forum you really...

So Boycott got 1 vote and 3 votes in the same round. Quite impressive. Some of these being named before him are beyond ludicrous.

Wow, I'd put ABDV down about 70 (about the same as Hussey, Clarke, Inzy, and Jayawardene). I always thought Graeme Smith who might make the top 50 was a better test batsman than De Villiers and he hasn't had a single vote.

Wait, there are people in the real world who think AB de Villiers was a better test match batsman than Geoff Boycott?

Pass the crack pipe over here please. This is beyond ridiculous. David Gower was probably a better test player than de Villiers, let alone Boycott. FMD he's not fit to carry Boycott's jock strap as a test player. Anyone who thinks he is should be perma'ed and then go on a waiting list to have their lobotomy reversed.
