I feel this way about ODIs these days. Middle overs are a serious grind.

yeah but t20s still have them! when the whole point of ultrashort form cricket is it's not meant to have them

It's the yawning gaps between deliveries while the field is adjusted in my experience.

Over rates do matter when they're slow because there's no cricket happening.

I think LOs should be really batting friendly. The PSL this year has been entertaining in a dumb kinda way with the high scores. The IPL in the UAE on the other hand with the low slow wickets was boring af.

yeah i absolutely agree. i don't watch T20s to watch 120 vs 120 and batsmen barely getting cutters off the square, fun T20s are 170+

even so, it's actually more obvious watching in person. the period between 5 and 15 overs of t20s can be so nondescript, because you don't even have the innings construction aspect of it that you do in ODIs

you could be watching the speed skating and Bradbury's refusal to call any skater by their name. in the previous race the Chinese skater couldn't keep up with the Dutch ladies
