Isn't Sydney Fish Market a tourist trap thingy
They're knocking it down, happily. Awful joint. Imagine traveling interstate or to another continent and thinking "I'll go and have a look at some dead fish. That'll be fun." You'd have to have an empty head.

Really **** part-time spinners bowling the first over in T20s has been a thing for a while. Theory is you sneak a free over out of them while the batsmen are hesitant to go too hard. So if you get 0-6 it's a win.
Aye, I recall seeing it as far back as the '92 WC. I recall NZL opening the bowling with an offie.

No, it's a terrible joint. The produce there is no better or fresher than that which you get at any other seafood retailer in the metropolitan area.
always felt theres a bit of novelty to the place itself though that makes it an experience, like going to paddy's markets

But it's literally two acres of dead, mostly frozen fish.

You know, at Paddy's markets you might get some clothes, some cheap toys for the kids to choke on, a new phone case or whatever.

But the fish markets is literally about 15 vendors all selling the same produce at the same (inflated) price. It's the Montmartre tourist portrait rip off of food.

I go there for the oysters, but yeah they're no cheaper or fresher than what you can get anywhere else. It just has a nice feel to it..
