If it helps, I'll be joining you on that one imminently!Allan Border
Alan Davidson
I feel like I'm going to vote for Davidson a stupid amount of times in this thing before he actually gets selected
I think I've already voted for him four times. I never considered myself a crazy Davo fan but apparently I am, comparatively. If it helps, I'll be joining you on that one imminently!
Nah he still has a lot to prove. While I'm not ready yet to pick him in the next XI, I have to say that such is the absolutely relentless excellence of Pat Cummins that I am starting to think about when I'd be prepared to throw him a vote in this exercise. And I don't reckon it's that far away.
If Cummins played from 1971-1982 with those stats then he’d be in your second XI, probably.Nah he still has a lot to prove.
I think you mistook Nikhil for subshakerzIf Cummins played from 1971-1982 with those stats then he’d be in your second XI, probably.
What else does he have to prove?
Wait, aren't they multis ?I think you mistook Nikhil for subshakerz
Harsh criticNah he still has a lot to prove.
Am I? Cummins doesnt have 200 wickets yet and has hardly played in the subcontinent. Don't get me wrong, he is future great, its just a matter of time, but I don't think we can jump to put him ahead of Wasim, Lillee, etc.Harsh critic
Lillee is probably not the best example to use to base this argument on.Am I? Cummins doesnt have 200 wickets yet and has hardly played in the subcontinent. Don't get me wrong, he is future great, but I don't think we can jump to put him ahead of Wasim, Lillee, etc.
He is probably saying cummins at this stage can’t be anywhere near D.K lillee. And he is right imo.Lillee is probably not the best example to use to base this argument on.
He isn’t far to be in the 4th xi.Would be interesting to see how he goes in India.Last time he came here,he didn’t do that bad like rabada. It was the series when he was back to the test side IIRC and was ok.If he can put up a good performance in india ,he will be there in my 4th xi at this stage for sure. The way he is going he might be infront of steyn at the end of his career tbh. While I'm not ready yet to pick him in the next XI, I have to say that such is the absolutely relentless excellence of Pat Cummins that I am starting to think about when I'd be prepared to throw him a vote in this exercise. And I don't reckon it's that far away.
I know, I know. You get the drift. But yeah, would definitely see Cummins give Lillee and McGrath competition for Australia's top quick.Lillee is probably not the best example to use to base this argument on.
