All time world test XI selection

Wasn't Keith Miller at his best in short spurts with the new ball?

Less so as a 5th bowling option?

Well yeah but most good fifth bowlers are not also only fifth bowlers at a level below the standard they played.

We're picking this team for a standard above usual Tests; "short spurts with the new ball a level below" is really exactly what most seam-up fifth bowlers do.

If we are picking bowlers that played 5th bowler role consistently, I would have to change my vote to Shardul Thakur
Never said that was the case.

Was more along the line that he was more effective with the new ball. Not trying to slight the great man.

I don't know how long before the next team starts, but I might not be around much tomorrow so put me down for Holding, Garner and Roberts if the bowlers are up for selection. :cowboy:

I’ll do two opening bats and two opening bowlers first if you wanna list your choices

Okay. I’m going randomly off the top of my head here with the openers. :angel_not
Smith
Cook

I’ll stick with Garner and Holding. Though I don’t think Donald, Younis or Willis have sneaked in yet.
Davidson or Cummins can wait for the 8th XI. :tooth:
Thank you. Carry on.
