Regarding Bavuma, it's just a mental thing. May be he can have a chat with Kallis or Dravid and ask them what is lacking.

Playing in conditions where the game is heavily in favour of the bowlers can lead to this. He has 17 fifties and just 1 century, I've only seen him in this series and I can see that the hunger to keep going on is just not there after he gets a start.

Also, it sounds weird that people are asking for him to be dropped after this series. He has done quite well in these conditions against a strong bowling lineup. He needs to build on these starts, but he clearly has the talent and needs to be backed.

But in an individual test 3 pace bowlers should be selected and able to get through the work load. If you are selecting half fit bowlers, that's a different issue. Picking 5 bowlers in a single test is an expectation that one of those bowlers is not going to bowl well and/or will break down. That is the bowler you should not be picking anyway.
