Adelaide 2018 turned out to be a cliff hanger in the end. India was really struggling to get tail out & it got little thrilling in the end.Have you forgotten 36 all out at Adelaide? We never win close match overseas.
Cheap wickets. Shouldn't be counted. His real test would be in 2nd session and 2nd innings.Thakur reaping the rewards of the hardwork done by Shami and Bumrah

Bowled genuine wicket taking balls.. Bumrah was too short all this while. Shami was really unlucky indeed. Shardul deserves a lot of credit. Bowled a little quicker than he was in Centurion I think.Thakur reaping the rewards of the hardwork done by Shami and Bumrah

**** u tooRahul clearly doesn't rate Thakur.
I wish India had picked a competent fast bowler rather than a bits and pieces cricketer who has peaked already.

Underrated classic test match. First two tests were brilliant before India began to dominate that series.Adelaide 2018 turned out to be a cliff hanger in the end. India was really struggling to get tail out & it got little thrilling in the end.
I think the problem is that he's scored most, maybe all of his runs domestically as an opener. So because he's done so well there they believe that persisting with him as a test opener is the way to go.But your selectors seem convinced its opening or bust for Markram.
I think Peterson will be another Bavuma, which is not bad at all but both these guys need to figure out how to get 100s. Their ceiling seems to be 50s and 60s.On Petersen, still think he has some technical issues to sort out but looks a good player that should help SA get outs of its current funk. Hopefully they bring in Rickelton for the next Test and drop Markram to 4. Not necessarily going to work but will be looking forward and not backwards.
And please get van Tonder and Breetzke into the squad asap.
Can't when there's no conclusive evidence to overturn. So the cheats didn't do the honourable thing and say to RvD, have another go son? KL and Dravid are now cheats too
That's the kind of bullshit that has people believing we landed on the moon in 1969.Can't when there's no conclusive evidence to overturn.
Its coz he is already a short guy who has a predominantly backfoot trigger movement. There is no forward movement to speak of and therefore, he finds he is still reaching. Same issue with Bavuma. And I think with Ollie Pope also. His balance is excellent I think, but sometimes he is playing the ball on the move. Which he gets away with because of how good his balance is. Pushes forward with his hands sometimes, but think that comes back to he is still moving while playing the ball. It is a bit strange because he seems to have so much time to get into a good position.
I would be disappointed if he did not do more than that...I think Peterson will be another Bavuma, which is not bad at all but both these guys need to figure out how to get 100s. Their ceiling seems to be 50s and 60s.
